Maybelline Eyeshadow Duos

I'm always at Target. Whenever I get the chance, I browse the aisle endcaps to see what items they've put on clearance. I've found some real treasures at 90% off the original price. On my last trip, I found 3 different Maybelline eyeshadow duos at 54 cents apiece.

Chanel Enigma Quad

The Chanel Enigma quad is one of pieces I picked up from this year's fall collection. I think it's a great collection. The colors really feel like fall and I found myself seriously thinking about what to get, before I put myself in debt because I want to buy everything.

Welcome to My Blog

I've thought about putting this blog together for a long time. I'd thought up the name and often find myself mentally writing posts when I pick up new products. I'd written product reviews on many sites but I guess I longed for something that's really my own. A place to post pictures (since I love taking pictures) and just speak my mind.

I love cosmetics. I love going to Nordstrom and browsing the beauty counters. I love Sephora. I love the variety and how quickly they ship orders when you place them online. I also love the easy return policy. Another place I completely love? Target. So the next time I pick up something that's a real deal, you'll be sure to hear about it here.

I'm not a makeup artist and am in no way connected with the beauty industry. But I follow trends. I like to know what they are but I don't necessarily jump in. Occasionally, I'll post a photo of an eye look or a lip product, all in the name of writing an honest and clear review. Other people's product reviews have really helped me make decisions about product purchases. This is my way of giving back. Hopefully, my reviews will be of help the next time you're trying to decide whether a product is worth picking up or not.

For reference, I'm reasonably fair, with light to medium skin-tone. Just to get in with the lingo, I've learned that I'm somewhere between NC 20-25. Yellow to neutral undertones and generally easy to buy foundation for. Laura Mercier's foundation products suit me best though. For now, I wear the tinted moisturizer in Bisque and the Silk Creme Foundation in Beige Ivory. The skin tone is generally warm so I gravitate towards warmer colors. Brown eyes, brown hair and lots of brown clothes :)

So anyway, if there is anything you'd like me to review, at any point, feel free to get in touch. Enjoy reading!
